PEIC are happy to present our newest volume, A History of Socially Responsible Business, 1600-1950, edited by William Pettigrew and David Smith. With contributions from Aske Brock, William Pettigrew and Edmond Smith, this book assesses the full range of social obligations that corporations have held historically. As a new history of the corporation it offers a re-interpretation of these institutions relationships with people, society and the state.
