From Public Interest to Private Profit

On 5-6th May 2016 PEIC and the Rotman School of Management are co-hosting a conference at the University of Toronto ‘From Public Interest to Private Profit: the changing political and social legitimacy of international business’.

Bringing together historians, management scholars, and business practitioners, this conference will study the corporate entity as it changed over the past four centuries.  It will offer participants the opportunity to place present day corporate activity into an instructive historical context and to discuss how corporate actors in the past addressed challenges and problems parallel to those facing corporations today.

For more information please see the conference website or downloading the poster: TorontoConference.
